Here's a before and after of one of our recent projects. This one was definetly a large undertaking but the end result ended up amazing. In the kitchen we refinished the cabinets and painted the walls, trim, doors, and ceiling. In the living room we did the walls, trim, doors, ceiling, panneling, and built-in shelving unit. We used all Sherwin-Williams paint and the colors were:

walls and panneling: snowbound
ceiling: pure white
trim and doors: simply white
kitchen cabinets near sink/oven: alpaca
kitchen cabinets near coffee bar: october mist
built-in: hale navy
