With the big tree gone, it tore up a lot of yard and we cleared some overgrown areas too. Now I’m ready to start making it beautiful! The roof is getting done this week and as soon as they are finished I can get to planting new plants! I at least hung a few pots of flowers on the porch to tide me over.

Today I did my first tile job. I have studied Joe on the last few projects and even tried my hand at it years ago with a small tile patch job, but never anything this big. I’m pretty dang proud of myself getting over half the bathroom ton today. Mosaic tile is a little tricky, but I feel accomplished! What’s a skill you’d like to learn?

is doing an amazing job on tiling this kitchen… it looks like it’ll go fast, but then I remembered we doubled the size of the original kitchen AND are doing a cool design to transition into the wood. What style tile is your favorite these days?
