Hi all

Hoping everyone is staying warm (enough). Check all your faucets. If you’ve lost water flow anywhere. Turn off your water pump or shut the city water main valve. Wait for your house to warm up before returning water flow. If you have a burst line you may have a mess but will have avoided a potential disaster.

If you loose heat in a baseboard system. Make sure the water feed to the boiler is off. Again if a line bursts you will minimize your damage.

Open cabinet doors at kitchen sink to allow warmer room air into that space.

Heat pump users. You’ll notice your heat pump running in short bursts. At these temps the outdoor unit will go into defrost mode frequently. That’s normal and you can keep it running to do what it can do.

Stay warm friends. Just a few more hours to endure!
