A recent pantry project I completed. This started as a small closet under the stairs of a split level home here in Woodbridge. The client wanted access to the crawl space under the landing so I knocked out the back wall, framed, insulated, and drywalled the unfinished crawl space, put down new flooring and baseboards, and added custom floating shelves and motion sensor lights turning this dark crawl space into pleasant and functional storage.

What does Mrs. Handy Husband get for Mother’s Day? Aside from the gifts from the kids I built her a “Mama Garden”. We will fill it with plants and flowers picked out by the kids. Her middle name is “Bee” so the honeycomb trellis is a personal touch as she loves all things having to do with bees.

A few pics from a recent project. My first time working with masonry stain but the results were great!

We went from a whitewashed brick with red accents to a pallet of browns and earth tones. Each and every brick was hand stained one by one.

My clients were very pleased with the end result and I enjoyed bringing their vision to life!

On to the next project!

Before and after on a recent desk project I was working on. I picked up this cool little Mid Century desk a while back and it had been sitting in a corner of my shop collecting dust for some time. It was in rough shape and needed a lot of repairs before receiving a makeover but was totally worth saving. I’m really happy with how it turned out!

Up cycled IKEA Malm dresser. Spent a weekend dressing up this Plain Jane IKEA dresser as part of larger bedroom makeover I did for my 15 year old daughter. Really proud of how this turned out and how a few custom touches really elevated this piece. My daughter loved it, especially the mermaid drawer pulls.

Before and after of the whirlwind half bath remodel I just finished! Completed in just four evenings this was a fast paced but super fun project. I love my client’s design choices and am really proud of how this turned out on such a tight timeline.
