Hi Friends, just making a quick announcement that we will be taking on a handful of clients that we are offering lawn maintenance, cut, edge, and clippings bagged, and snow removal too. We won't be taking on alot of new clients to fill in times between projects and on a weekly =bi weekly schedule.

DO NOT WORRY, we will continue to offer our regular projects, decks, bathroom and kitchen remodels and all types of smaller projects.

It's hard enough finding one honest, capable, and reliable contractor for 1 portion of a project.

Happy Sunday folks, just wanted to share our latest project that we finished last week. It was a nice change of pace, most customers elect for the standard white PVC Railings and trim. This customer hated the idea of white, so we went with All composite Trex Enhance decking, (Almond Sand) and matched it with Black Aluminum Railings. We also fixed the slope/ angle of the rear stairs. The customer was reluctant at first, since we needed to bust out the old cement pads at bottom of stairs and move then accordingly to the correct slope of the stairs. The old stairs trees (part the you step on were only a but about 7inches, when code is right around 10". As reluctant as they were, the very thing they said was " We are so glad we listenfirsted to your recommendation about building the stairs correctly and according to code.

To match the Railings we opted for all the skirting to be black as well, we really feel this made it "pop!!

We also built a small platform to enter pool that we picture framed and too the time to make the platform match the deck and stairs.

Im very proud of this one, and looking forward to do more high end composite guy such as this one.

WE WILL still continue to build wooden pressure
Treated lumber for those with a stricter budget, but if possible we we Def suggest investing in composite and not worry about any maintenance for the next 25 years or so.

This entire deck took us a little over 2 weeks, only due to some backorder material.

I recently hired a deck guru to help me be more efficient, the "Before" pics contain pics of some remedies i had done at the beginning of summer.

It's unfortunately common to see hard working people get ripped off by shoddy workmanship, and cheap materials, and unskilled greedy people
Sorry but the cliche' is 💯 true. Cheap labor ain't good, and good work ain't cheap. Its not cheap, its a huge investment you make to you home.

OPTION #1 You can make it out of pressure treated wood cheaper, absolutely. Just know you will be applying some type of protection EVERY year or 2..and hope for a 10 to mayyyybeee 15 again is done right. BTW if you choose to do not maintenance whatsoever, prepare to rebuild it again in 5 years or so.

OPTION #2 If you have the means make the investment to a composite, its virtually maintenance free, annmd can easily last 25+ years, of course if the footings, and framing were installed properly.

Acomposite decking comes in packages designed toÄ™ fit budget levels

Either option adds tremendous value to your home as well....build an over hang? With ceiling fans to cool you on those scorching days. FUGGGEEEDDDABOUTITTTT!!!

If you do decide to make the investment make sure to as hard as it is..find someone credible, honest, most of all keeps to their word.

Check references and reviews, they tell you most of what you need to know about their business ethics right there.

Absolutely meet and speak with them and go with your gut..ALWAYS, do they know what they're talking about? Showing you options and potential issues? Are they engaged or just trying to sell you?

The right contractor may very well not be the cheapest, its much easier to deal with a number that doesn't Jump around, issues do arise and if additional work is required then the contractor SHOULD stop and show amd explain to the home owner the unforeseen issue BEFORE "repairiing" it.

A new deck is not only enjoyable but also adds value to your home!

A wooden deck is more cost effective at first, but there is required maintenance and painting or staining at least every two years.

A composite deck will cost you more at first, but aside from Powerwashing every few years, composite decking will never need painting or staining amd will last much longer than a wooden deck.
