Every spring means the start of gardening here in Massachusetts. The planning and planting of the seeds of what you wish to grow for your family and self is so exciting. Every day you see progress from the time and work you put into planting. When I see the plants that I started from seed bloom, my heart fills with such gratitude.

Considering following and sharing my post if you enjoy this post ✌️

Today marks the first day of fall. It's bitter sweet. It marks the end of the summer and the start of a new season.

As a gardener, I have learned that the fall isn't the end. However, it's a new season for harvesting and growing.

My husband and I spend time harvesting, canning, and cooking to preserve and enjoy our hard work from the summer months. This year, we even planted a fall garden to fill our bellies with root vegetables and greens!
