Hello and Welcome to Wandering Faye Homestead! Thanks for stopping by and checking out our page!

I mainly started this page to home all my videos and pictures of just our homesteading journey and our wilderness adventures. We bought our first house at the end of 2023 and although we aren’t located out in the country area we had hoped for we still wanted to start our homesteading journey a little at a time. This page will be a collection of our trial and errors and adventures and silliness.

A little about our family!

Hi I’m Amanda and I am married to my husband Cody and we have two goofy boys, Tristan and Atticus. We currently have two dogs, Ginerva an Aussie and Penelope a chihuahua. Added to the clan we have a tortoise, 2 leopard geckos, 5 chickens (for now!) and too many quail to keep count!

Here at Wandering Faye Homestead we do hatch and raise our quail for meat and keep many for eggs. We are learning how to properly s*x, care for and process our quail to feed our family along with our Aussie. We are also learning how to pickle, can, make sourdough, garden and hone in on our diy skills.

Come along on our adventures as we also explore our beautiful state of Michigan! We enjoy hiking, camping, swimming and finding new hidden gems we haven’t explored before.

This page is not meant to educate as we are only learning ourselves. We encourge you to provide feedback and help us learn but please remember we are new to all of this so please be kind.

We would love your interaction on our page, so please like, follow, share and comment!

Love always,
Amanda and family
