After five weeks and 25 hours in the shop, I can finally say it—this project is DONE. I’m still new to woodworking, and let’s just say this build did not go easy on me. Glue-ups failed four different times (who knew glue could be so stubborn?), clamps slipped, and there were moments I seriously thought about starting over—or just giving up altogether.

But I stuck with it, learned a ton, and in the end, I actually finished something I’m proud of. It might not be perfect, but that’s okay. Every mistake was a lesson, and every challenge made the final result even more rewarding.

If you’re new to woodworking and struggling through a build, don’t give up. Keep learning, keep making mistakes, and keep building. It will get better.
