Hey friends and family Adkins Mechanical Service is looking to hire a couple of HVAC Technicians. The positions that are open is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to get into the HVAC Trade. Our company is about 80% Multi Family(Apartment Start ups) and 20% Light Comerical(Change outs, install, Upfits). No experience is required for the position as i would be working along side and training hands on. This position will teach the fundamentals of HVAC from start to finish. Typical hours are 8-5 monday through friday (some Saturdays if absolutely necessary)but as HVAC is a high demand trade hours may vary. All HVAC related tools will be supplied except your typical hand tools(Impact,nut driver,etc.) Futher education is available once certain field hours are met such as EPA Certification( Company will supply book and pay for test). Must be 18+ with a clean driver license and must be able to withstand working in the weather. Transportation will be at a local pickup and dropoff. AMS recently received a no heat call for a retail store. Here is a prime example of why Preventative Maintenance is so important! Filters and belt was long overdue for a change. Also previously someone left bolts out for the blower motor bracket causing the motor to be out of alignment. Preventative Maintenance would have caught this before it became a issue and the customer wouldnt have been left without heat during bussines hours. AMS was able to quickly get this customer back up and heating! If you own a bussines or need your home HVAC checked out before the hot weather arrives give us a call!

Customer called stating his unit was short cycling and not heating. AMS found the heat exchanger cracked. Thankfully the safeties was working like they should and not allowing this unit to run. A cracked Heat Exchanger can cause very high levels of carbon monoxide to enter your home. AMS was able to warranty out the Heat Exchanger due to manufacturer warranty and get this customer back heating! If you havent had your gas furnace serviced yet its never to late to be sure your system is operating safely!

Here is an OxBox gas pack AMS was able to get done for a customer that had a cracked heat exchanger on their old unit. The customer was ready for an upgrade and AMS was able to get it done before it gets too cold outšŸ„¶.
