16,000-pound MRI magnet made its a grand entrance at UnityPoint Health - Waterloo Allen Hospital yesterday as it's craned through the roof for this replacement project. Replacing critical healthcare equipment takes careful planning, coordination, and a little heavy lifting!

A community’s investment in its students is one of the most meaningful things to be part of, and it’s been an honor to help bring this vision for Indianola High School to life.

Congratulations to the students, staff, and families beginning this exciting new chapter. These spaces were designed to support learning, connection, and growth for years to come, and we’re grateful to have partnered with Indianola Community School District on a project that will have a lasting impact on the community.

✨ A Dream Becoming Reality ✨

Five years ago, this community had a vision—to create something more for its students: a high school designed to meet the needs of today and tomorrow.

Today, that vision took another exciting step forward as Indianola High School students and staff began moving into their new learning spaces.

When the 2026–2027 school year begins, students will officially open the year in this incredible new academic space. Construction will continue on the next phases of the project, including a new front entrance and administrative suite, as well as a new competition gym that will also serve as the building’s storm shelter.

This project represents so much more than a building—it reflects a community’s belief in its students, their future, and the opportunities they deserve.

It was great to join Story Medical for the MRI/CT Open House and watch people explore the new imaging suite, ask questions, and connect with the team behind the care. Thoughtful healthcare spaces are about comfort, access, trust, and bringing advanced care closer to home.
