Location: United Kingdom.

Jon came to us with one goal in mind: to redesign his living room, seeking to optimize every inch, where there would be room not only for the sofa, but also for a small dining area.

Each piece of furniture has a character that represents Jon’s personality, combined in such a way that the final result is one of spatial and visual comfort.

At the end we include a couple of photos that he took showing the finished work.

Jon vino a nosotros con un objetivo en mente: rediseñar su sala de estar buscando optimizar cada centímetro, donde no solo hubiera espacio para el sofá, sino también para un pequeño comedor.

Cada pieza del mobiliario tiene un carácter que representa la personalidad de Jon, combinadas de tal forma que el resultado final sea el de confort espacial y visual.

Al final incluimos un par de fotos que él tomó mostrando la obra finalizada.

The Forestias Apartment consisted of a simple, sober and elegant design in which, in order to achieve fluidity in the social and home office spaces, the wall of the room corresponding to the office was removed, while the ground level was raised of this area to maintain a better visual control of the rest of the space.

The Forestias Apartment consistió en un diseño sencillo, sobrio y elegante en el que, para lograr la fluidez de los espacios sociales y de home office, se removió la pared del cuarto correspondiente a la oficina y, a la vez que se eleva el nivel del suelo de esta área para mantener un mejor control visual del resto del espacio.

Location: Birmingham, England.

The second Bloco building follows the guidelines and aesthetics of the previous proposal, largely using neon lighting and the play of colors of the branding, but adapting to the request to have a variety of spaces for the consumption of food and drinks within a same environment.

The central space is intended to be the stage for various audiovisual events, which can be seen from the area of tables located in front or from the upper corridors that lead to the double height.

For its part, the facade responds to the colors and theme of the brand, creating a depth at the entrance that invites the pedestrian to enter the interior.

Ubicación: Birmingham, Inglaterra.

El segundo edificio de Bloco sigue los lineamientos y estética de la anterior propuesta, utilizando en gran medida la iluminación neón y el juego de colores del branding, pero adaptándose a la solicitud de tener variedad de espacios para el consumo de comidas y bebidas dentro de un mismo entorno.

El espacio central está destinada a ser el escenario de diversos eventos audiovisuales, los cuales pueden ser vistos desde el área de mesas ubicadas al frente o desde los pasillos superiores que dan hacia la doble altura.

Por su parte, la fachada responde a los colores y la temática de la marca, creando una profundidad en la entrada que invita al peatón a ingresar al interior.

_Exteriors/Facades
The shape of the hotel is made up of a low body, which houses the different restaurants, the main greenhouse and the lobby. The tower contains the rooms and another greenhouse on the top floor.

The gabled roof at the bottom allows air to flow in and out naturally, reducing air conditioning use and therefore energy. The set in general presents elements of wood and plants, which is in tune with the objective of having a fresh environment.

_Exteriores/Fachadas
La forma del hotel se compone de cuerpo bajo, que alberga los diferentes restaurantes, la greenhouse principal y el lobby. La torre contiene a las habitaciones y otro invernadero en el último piso.

El techo a dos aguas de la parte inferior permite la entrada y salida de aire de manera natural, lo cual reduce el uso del aire acondicionado y, por lo tanto, la energía. El conjunto en general presenta elementos de madera y vegetación, lo cual va en sintonía con el objetivo de tener un ambiente fresco.

_WiseSoc + Gym
The WiseSoc is an area for hotel guests where they can prepare their own food using ingredients from the greenhouse. It also has a table area for work or rest. The design uses white to create openness and wood accents as in the rest of the hotel, while seeking to streamline workflow in the kitchen.

For its part, the Gym is an area with a rustic and industrial design. In its spaces there are areas for crossfit, boxing, cardio and weights. This training is done while having the city of Nice as a background, which is shown through the large windows.

_WiseSoc + Gym
El WiseSoc es un área para huéspedes del hotel donde pueden preparar su propio comida ytilizando los ingredientes provenientes del invernadero. Además posee un área de mesas para trabajo o descanso. El diseño utiliza el blanco para generar amplitud y acentos de madera como en el resto del hotel, mientras busca optimizar el flujo de trabajo en la cocina.

Por su parte, el Gimnasio es un área con un diseño rústico e industrial. En sus espacios hay zonas para crossfit, boxeo, cardio y pesas. Este entrenamiento se realiza mientras se tiene como fondo la ciudad de Niza, la cual se muestra a través de los grandes ventanales.

_Greenhouse + Lobby.
Among the requested spaces is the greenhouse, an area created for the cultivation of plants, vegetables and spices for the hotel's food intake, making it sustainable and self-sufficient.

The lobby was designed following the ideology and aesthetics of the project, allowing large amounts of light and natural ventilation.

_Invernadero + Lobby.
Dentro de los espacios solicitados se encuentra el invernadero, un área creada para el cultivo de plantas, vegetales y especies para el consumo de alimentos dentro del hotel, haciéndolo sustentable y autosuficiente.

El lobby fue diseñado siguiendo la ideología y estética del proyecto, permitiendo grandes entradas de luz y ventilación natural.
