We are pleased to announce that the following firms have won the distinguished annual BCI Asia Top 10 Architects and Developers Awards 2023.
The BCI Asia Top Ten Architects and Developers Awards identify firms with the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed Green building ratings. The criteria for the Top Ten Architects also include projects from the pre-tender stages to recognise early-stage Green design efforts.

The formal ceremony for the Vietnam BCI Asia Awards 2023 will take place on Friday, May 26th, 2023 at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers.

Recently, CEO of BEA company in Vietnam - Mr. Cung Thanh Dat was honored to attend the conference "Zak World of Façades" on November 24th, 2022 at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi .
"Zak World of Façades" is the world's largest series of international façade design and engineering conferences, which presented in more than 30 countries around the globe. Up to present, the event has attracted over 29,000 delegates across its 90+ completed editions as on date.

This edition is the 107th global edition and the 2nd edition in Vietnam. The conference was successfully held with the theme "Advancing façade design through innovation and technological evolution".

Mr. Cung Thanh Dat was honored to join the program as the Keynote Speaker for the "Living and Working in Comfort Zones" section. Mr. Dat introduced sustainable innovations (friendly to environment) through the project "2226 building" at Lustenau, Austria, as well as highlighted challenges in the construction industry pertaining to the building envelope and will also display latest technological solutions from leading solution providers.

Through the introduction of the project "2226 Building", he also presented the façade of the design project "Viettel Building" with the criterion "No heating, No cooling", towards modern buildings, environmentally friendly and shows the development journey of the domestic façade industry.

The conference was held with the participation of many veteran speakers such as Mr. Shuichi Ishikawa (Nihon Sekkei), Ms. Agnes Koltay (Koltay Façades), Mr. Thomas Fruhmann (Schueco Middle East), Mr. Do Huu Nhat Quang (Greenviet)... Participating in the conference with the spirit of spreading pride and showing confidence in the development of façade design and construction, Baumschlager Eberle Architekten (BEA) Vietnam expects Vietnam's creative potential in the field of façade will be on par with the world in the coming years.

Vmark Award Gala Ceremony 2021

Baumschlager Eberle Architekten (BEA) honorably received the “Gold Winner” - Best Hospitality Design of VMARK Vietnam Design Awards 2021 for our Eastin Hotel and Residence in Hanoi.

The Gala Ceremony is to honor talented designers from the VMARK 2021 season with nearly 200 guests who are Consuls/General Consulates of different countries, Dean Professors from prestigious universities as well as leading experts and project owners in the industry.

VIETNAM NATIONAL AWARD OF ARCHITECTURE 2020-2021

On 29.12.2021, Baumschlager Eberle Architekten (BEA) received 04 prizes of the National Award of Architecture in 2020-2021, including 03 awards of our works (Movenpick Wavely Phu Quoc, Eco Office Hanoi, Coastal Hill Quy Nhon) and 01 awards of International Office with many achievements in Vietnam.

A new building ensemble unites city and beach
TWO TOWERS FOR QUY NHON

Our office in Hanoi as the design-team recently had the pleasure to take part in the opening of a new mixed-used building in Quy Nhon, a city located one flight hour to the north of Ho-Chi-Min-City. The “FLC City Hotel Beach Quy Nhơn” has a strategic location, being in the center of Quy Nhon and possessing commanding view towards the beach front. Located on the same street block, the two hotels – Novotel and Seatower - offer a shared shopping center on the first two floors. The ensemble comprises 32,933 square meters of gross floor area.

As they split into two separate towers, the space in between is transformed into a green roof to provide more public space for shoppers, residents, and hotel guests alike. The hotel-complex prioritizes providing beautiful view to all guests, and thus, is located on the side that is closer to the sea and faces it directly. Its first four floors are dedicated to public space and amenities, including a cafe, a restaurant, a spa, and a pool. With their public characteristic, these floors carry a transparent glass facade both to engage passers-by with the interior’s activities and to bring the surrounding into the indoors space.

The hotel lobby on the fifth floor is set back from the main facade so that guests can also enjoy the view down into the fourth floor’s inifinity pool in addition to the sea view. Each hotel room possesses a spacious balcony, which alternate in depth randomly to conceive a dynamic and striking facade. Green elements such as planters and hanging vines are added to soften the rigid appearance of concrete.
