Finished up this 2-sided project. Today was the 1st chance I've had to be in our shop since the passing of my Mom on October 1st. It really was bittersweet. Our shop has been my happy place so I was excited to be creative again. However I'm not sure all of you realize that my Mom is the whole reason we are even in this business. She had decided to move in with us at one point in her life and we were very into watching Flea Market Flip. We decided that was something we could do and To the Curb and Back was born. One day we were brainstorming names for the business and she came up with that. As soon as it came out of her mouth her eyes lit up and we both knew that was it. She enjoyed being creative as much as I did. We didn't always agree but we always came to a compromise. Which of course means I did it the way she wanted. Even after she moved out she always wanted to come spend a week and help us. I think she managed once to do that. I will always have those priceless moments with her and for that I'm very thankful. ❤️❤️

We are slowly getting back into the shop after a long, tough summer. We just finished this up the other day. It's going to be available at the VFW Auxiliary craft fair in Stuyvesant Falls on October 18th. Unfortunately we aren't going to make it to the fall yard sale in Constable this year but are looking forward to being there for the community wide sale in May.

I want to thank everyone who came out to support us at Waddingtons Annual Homecoming Weekend. Whether you were shopping or just visiting we appreciate you taking the time. I especially want to thank Paula and Lloyd Hurlbut for the help they provide every single year. We couldn't do it without them. Hope to see everyone again next year!! ❤️

I learned something new while working on this set. I took a picture of the top before we added the epoxy and sent it to a company that made me some fabric. That is what we used to cover the seats on the stools. Definitely a leaning curve involved and I will be doing more in the future.
