This morning’s brunch - an omelette with sundried tomatoes plus homegrown asparagus, broccoli raab, and chives. Three (3) out of 5 ingredients are homegrown. In the past, I’ve made my own dehydrated tomatoes, but not last year. I try to eat locally whenever possible.

More signs of spring, the rhubarb is sprouting, the Eastern columbine (Aquilegia canadensis) leaves are greening, and the elderberry bushes are breaking dormancy. More than half of the garden contains perennials.
