With MasterChef airing a new season this week, I canât help but reflect on all thatâs happened since my own time on the show. Iâm so grateful for the doors that opened for me. Thatâs not to say I havenât worked hard but thereâs absolutely no doubt that MasterChef kickstarted my dream life in a huge way.
Not only did I meet amazing people and learn loads, I was also connected with an entire community of gluten-free people who rallied behind me in support. And that continued in a huge way even after I was eliminated.
My first bestselling cookbook has now been printed in FOUR editions which is mental. My second book came out last year and I get messages and photos of my recipes from readers nearly every day. Iâve done demos and events in Melbourne, Sydney, Birmingham and London. Thereâs been TV and radio, and now my third cookbook has just gone off to print. Sometimes it still feels too good to be true.
To the contestants this year, good luck. Itâs hectic and stressful but also amazing, and it can open doors you might never have imagined đ To anyone reading, thank you for the support. Genuinely, none of this would have happened without the love from this community.
