So the bathroom remodel is 95% complete. I think it looks pretty good. I am always humbled by ”looks great” type comments from anyone. My humble reply is always the same thank you very much talk to me in 5-7 years. Then I give myself praise. The most important work to me will never be seen. I have to call out the obvious. The toilet is right at code but it’s placement isn’t ideal. An LVL beam along with prior waste line setup did not meet clients return on value needs. Moved it as far as it could be.

Full Bathroom remodel in progress.

1) reconfigure bedroom bath and closet
2) move bathroom wall and move closet door.
3) replace existing tub/shower insert with custom tiled shower and curb
4) move waste, vent, and water supply lines for shower, toilet, and vanity
5) rewire and run new electric lines
6) tile shower walls, pan, and vanity backsplash.

This project has posed some fun challenges. From structural obstacles to first time installation of Schluter shower pan.
Will post updated pics when complete.

The hardest part of installing an outside dryer vent was not drilling a 4.25 in hole through brick, concrete and I’m joist. It was connecting the metal flex tubing together and to the vent 😂
