Hey everybody, sorry it's been a little bit. But we've been extremely busy. Here are some pictures of projects we've completed in the past 2 weeks.
The first pictures show a little privacy fence someone wanted to put in to connect a small livestock area with their garden fence.
Next is a single run, straight line 4ft black chain link we put in a parking area to maintain good neighborly relations!
The third set of pictures are of a small area with black chain link for a dog. They needed an area to contain the "mess" and the energy.
Fourth, we had to repair an old barn garage door and instead of repairing it. The owner wanted to remove the garage door and seal off the opening with rough cut. So we framed it out and tried to match the rough cut siding as best as we could. While there, we pounded some small posts and out in a little bit of wire and a small wooden gate to protect the front garden area.
Fifth, we needed to fix a few sections of old rotted split rail and add a 3ft double swing gate so the owner could get into her garden from her driveway.
Finally, we did an 8ft deer fence around a very large area on the side of the house with several gates to protect a very large future garden the owner is planning to install.
As you can see from these pics, we do a variety of fences and jobs large and small. Not sure if we cak do it? Give us a call. You can also check out our website at burnsfencellc.com and look at the gallery. Or call Bob and he can help you design and brainstorm different options.

This past week we were rockin' and rollin'! We finished up a long, complicated gate project. The gate you see was a hand-crafted steel gate set up with an automatic opening system. This system allows you to use key fobs, pin code entry so you can track who is coming in and out, and tablets inside the house for video and voice. If you're not at home, the call button on the key pad of the gate can go to your phone and allow video and voice. This is a complicated system, especially because of the distance from the gate to the house.

The next set of images is of an 8ft deer fence that we strung along a 2 acre area that was cleared last year for an orchard. We used split locust posts that will last 40-50 years, amd galvanized, graduated 8ft deer fence. We installed double swing gates to allow equipment to go through.

Please check out our website at www.burnsfencellc.com to look at more images. If you're not sure if we cam install what you want, just ask. Please read through all the services and projects we offer on our website as we do more than just fence installation. We build run in sheds, greenhouses, do barn repair, light excavation, and much more. Give Bob a call with any questions and to schedule a quote. 570-352-8085

Sometimes the buffalo just need a place to roam. For a few weeks now, we have been working to secure a large pasture with woods included for bison. We needed to put dividing lines with a series of gates so that the owner can practice intensive grazing. There's a whole lot more that needs to be done, but at least we got this portion up and running for these bison. The 1st set of pictures, taken from a 40ft cliff overlooking the fields, shows what we've completed so far.

The next set of pictures is of some temporary fence. A client called and was in need of temporary fence in a hurry. He also needed it to be secure temporary fence, so we acquired 8ft x 10ft panels and pounded 2" galvanized posts at the seams and attached temporary fence to them. The gates needed to provide a 40ft opening, so we constructed bifold gates with wheels. This is not something that's typically done, but when there's a will there's a way.

Next, we had a client who wanted fencing for her goats and chickens, and a small area to keep a buck goat separated from the rest of the herd. We did this with locust posts and 5ft no-climb fence.

Finally, we had a request for a dog fence. The posts are pressure treated round posts that were pounded. The boards are 1"x6" rough cut oak. The black coated no-climb boxwire fence was stretched over the posts and stapled with the boards on top to secure them.

We encourage you to go to our website
Burnsfencellc.com and take a look at our gallery. Feel free to contact us with any fence needs you may have or even other projects like barn repair, stone driveways, lot clearing, greenhouses, garden beds, etc. If we can't do it, we probably know someone who can. We also help plan out farmettes. Not sure how to plan for the future between gardening and animals? We can help with that! Give us a call! 570-352-8085

I would say Happy Spring, but I'm literally looking out the window watching snow fall. Welcome to NEPA!
We've attached some pictures of current jobs we've been working on and a couple throwbacks. First, we have some raised beds that we just constructed. We left the supports tall, so the owner can use them to support trellises or throw fabric over to prevent frost damage. We used 2'x6' rough cut locust on the bottom and on the upright supports, and the redt was 2'x6' rough cut hemlock. These beds are 24" high and we filled them with 15 year old composted manure. And all the gardeners said, "Grow baby grow!"
Next up are some gates we hung at an organic farm that we already pounded posts and installed 8ft deer fence at.
Third, we installed a goat fence with pounded locust posts with 2 rails of locust and stretched sheep and goat wire. We did not chop the tops of the posts at the owner's request because she wants to hang bird houses on them.
The next set of pictures show an area we graded after we dug for a foundation, set perimeter drain, back filled with stone and fabric, and then graded back over, seeded, and covered with hay fabric. We used the large stones that we dug up to create a rock wall border around the yard.
The final pictures are of full garden set ups and raised beds we did last year. We can customize with many types of fence and entryways. We can dig water lines and install frost free spigots in the garden area as well.

Hey NEPA and NY! We are back at it! Here are some pictures of some fences we've done at the start of this season. The first set of pictures is of a garden fence that we replaced. What you see is exactly what was there, only installed more securely. The previous fence posts were set only 12-18" deep with not even a half a bag of concrete, and at 7ft tall, it was only a matter of time before it was going to fall over. We removed the old fence and put up a brand new one. The posts were dug to 3ft and have 2-4 bags of concrete at the base of each post. This fence will be standing for years to come.
The next fence shown is a simple black chain link dog fence. It gives the client just enough room to let their dogs run. If either of these fences or any of the other fences shown on our website (burnsfencellc.com) interest you, give us a call! We can schedule a time to come out and work up a free quote.
