A Vaillant Ecotec Pro we serviced yesterday, kitchen cupboard was a bit tight around the front case, but still possible to remove.

Boiler was serviced last year .... allegedly 👀

The debris in the bottom of the main heat exchanger tells us differently, the expansion vessel needed charging and the electrodes were a mess.

A good service carried out, all issues put right and made good, showed the customer what we were doing and why 👍🏻

Customer had an old baxi boiler that had served its time! The end was nigh, we'd repaired it a couple of times like we always try to in the first instance, but the writing was on the wall and it was off to boiler heaven.

Ideal Logic boiler thats dripping ? ... give us a call and we'll have it good as new again !

There is a common fault on the Ideal Logic range of boilers that can cause a small leak that can be annoying, its a pretty straightforward repair and will get you many more years out of the boiler, however if left, it will cause the case to rot through! so don't hesitate.

"The price of professionals costs no more, than the mistakes of amateurs"

We attended a job today, and found a situation that was dangerous and worryingly, this job had been "serviced" twice previously.

We found a ball of expanding foam inside the flue, pretty much blocking off the exhaust side of the flue, causing it to run like a pig, breach flue seals and cause corrosive water ingress inside the boiler.

Imagine sticking a potato in your car exhaust ....
