A design concept I did for a luxury 2-storey house in Butuan City.

Situated in rectangular lot with prime views at the rear side, the design takes advantage of the site's length and maximizes the prime views at its rear. This creates a tunnel effect for users that enter the space, perfectly framing the sceneries ang providing release once they reach the living spaces at the rear.

The concept involved using straight lines and figures to contrast the surrounding nature, establishing its form among the trees. Through the building's rectangular forms, the landscape is perfectly framed as a view for its users.

Sometimes, reducing the ceiling height can enhance the overall ambiance of the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. By painting the ceiling with a darker color than the walls, or leaving the material texture exposed, it creates the illusion of a lowered ceiling.
