My latest project took forever because it was too cold to paint in the garage. Finally the unveiling! Last pic is kind of the "before" except I got excited and started sanding before I remembered to photograph it!

The first picture is the ugly orange that was once a honey maple stain used on everything in the 70's. I got this cool retro desk for free on Marketplace. I thought it would make a great vanity for my bedroom. It was partly real wood and partly mdf and veneer. I painted it to match the nightstands I've done over. The wood on top was thin like luan, so I didn't dare sand it. I used Stain Top, Rethunk Junk by Laura product, to darken it, just went on over original and the grain is still beautiful. The paint is from the same company. This is not a paid sponsorship, I just love the products.
