Week 2/ day 10-11: this is our boys closet done...now off to the teenage daughters tomorrow lol...wish me luck!!!

Week 2/day 9- bathroom linen closet...plans to move under sink cabinets contents to the empty shelf in the near future lol...wish me luck!

Week 2 day 9- Linen closet done although not sure I need one anymore.... contemplating consolidating the linen closet and the bathroom linen closet together.

Week 2 Day 8- the purged pile....more to come once hubby does his homework!!! To think this time last year we had 2 closet full of clothes and 2 dressers and a nightstand full as well!!!

Week 2 Day 8- Master Bedroom Closet #1- yes there are two lol.. but this is the big one. The other sadly is my hubby's catch all which I am afraid won't get done with him...but pretty proud of how far this has come since Sept 2018.

As a mom I am always looking for ways to improve the quality of my kids lives and my relationship with my kids. This a new book that came highly recommended...do I am going to give it a whirl and I'll let y'all know if it's a book to read!!

Week 1 day 7 ( week 6 )- In September I start becoming a minimalist the picture with the red and gold bed spread was even after downsizing from a big bedroom set. We went down to dresser. Then a month ago we went down to a small plastic drawer set in the closet for me and my hubby went down to 3 big bins under the bed. I was not happy with that because with 3 huskies there is always fur floating around in that level so we downsized hubby to a matching plastic drawer set in the closet. So now I have my chairs which when we move will go with whatever forever table my hubby builds me. Then we have our Queen bed, the puppies crates and my stuff animal collection from my hubby and kids which even though it is a little cluttering it brings me joy.. my two marines,. My stuff animal for each kid for me and my hubby and then the one from our soccer team last fall. If it weren't for the ugly light blocking blinds (we rent) I would say this room is ready to move to a tiny house!

Week 1 day 6- today's challenge was much easier than last year. Major chores done here today clean the blinds...( Note to self tiny house no blinds I hate them) and cleaning under couch. The only problem areas for keeping clutter free still are the mantle which of course I can't eliminate and would not want to and then is the famous catch all my grandmother's china cabinet... missing it's door and side window lost to moving and a window was lost to a kid head in a temper tantrum... luckily he didn't actually lose his head. This area is dedicated to my husband's deployment treasurers and his awards...for some reason my hubby and kids think this is the place to put everything. After cleaning and dusting it and then cleaning under the couch...what did I turn around to find things found under the couch literally placed on the china cabinet...trash ugh!!!! Good news is it grew legs and walked to the trash can. And so now with week 4 for the challenge complete I move even closer to the problem areas where I will dedicate this extra time too that these challenges early completion have allowed me.
