Have a new money pit to sink my time and love into - there’s been a forge in this spot for hundreds of years but this might be the first time a woman has fired it up - it’s been unused for a while - no light or power so I’m using no modern equipment. The leather bellows are working again and got it hot enough to start turning a fire rake - will be back at it next week to make some sculptures to hold the ritual well water I’ve been gathering across the county - a nice way to honour the old gods blending Fire and Water - I take ADHD to its logical end and combine all the Iron Age skills I have. Still haven’t found somewhere to live in but I have found the best places to connect

I’ve done well this week with 4 wells including this one in Kilfenora the former seat of Latin and scripture learning for europes highborn - how many pilgrims have touched this water?

4 wells done today with a friend from New Zealand who turned up and brough great luck in finding two lost wells!

It’s been a wild ride this year but instead of moaning on LinkedIn I just got a 17th century forge working with bellows - a woman smith back in North Clare - just a test run today - will start making in the dark now of winter - great to be back in the Iron Age where I belong

Holy wells for days today - hit four in West Clare with a friend and it was superb finding this lost beauty in kilmihil
