I’ve been drawing since I was young, but in the last few years, I had to switch to painting because my hands could no longer hold pencils the way they used to. While I enjoy painting, I miss the detail of drawing. Recently, I started scratch sketching, a looser, more spontaneous approach where mistakes don’t matter, it allows me to be messy and free, focusing on movement rather than perfection. It’s fun, flows easily, and feels much less stressful. Plus, the lighter, quick strokes are easier on my hands while still letting me capture the images in my mind ✍️
