One of my favorite things to do is find an item that most would just throw away, but I save it and give it new life. I LOVE painting detail, and making things a one of a kind item. I love that for awhile now I have been able to create items that she adds to her collection. This is exactly why I do what I do. My kiddos are grown and I didn’t want the creating to stop so now I’m able to do it for others.

One of these ships is for a grandchild whose grandfather has already purchased another ship for a different grandchild and plans to continue the tradition for all of them. ❤️
Stories like this are why I started This and That by LC.
When my children were little, I loved reading to them and encouraging imaginative play. I began creating things like these for them, and years later, that passion became my business.
Knowing that something I make can become a cherished keepsake and create lasting memories for families means the world to me.
