We’re really pleased to properly introduce George, our Content Creator here at Quirk Design & Build.

George has actually been working with us for a few months now and has quickly become a really valuable part of the Quirk team.

His role goes far beyond simply capturing our projects. From photography and videography to social media, George works with us to develop new ideas and find creative ways of telling the Quirk story. Whether that’s showcasing a project from design through to completion, sharing our clients’ journeys and testimonials, capturing the people behind the business, or supporting our awards, branding and wider business awareness, he’s helping us communicate what Quirk is really about.

He’s creative, hardworking and always keen to try something new, and we’re really enjoying seeing our content and ideas develop with him.

🏡 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 & 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 | 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗟

Sometimes creating your dream kitchen isn’t about extending, it’s about unlocking the potential in the space you already have.

For this project in Hatfield Peverel, an awkwardly positioned chimney breast was restricting the kitchen and dining area and making the space feel enclosed.

Removing the ground-floor section of the chimney and installing the carefully engineered structural steelwork allowed us to completely open up the layout and create the space needed for our clients’ new kitchen.

From the original layout, through the structural work, to the finished result, take a look at the transformation. 👀

We’ve recently started work on this exciting project in Chelmsford, updating and transforming this family home.

A key part of the project will be opening up the existing kitchen and dining areas to create a light, airy open-plan living space, complete with a new matte green true handleless kitchen, feature copper rail and banquette seating area.

A great day at another Gold Circle event, where Daryl and George had the opportunity to hear from entrepreneur Andrew Hulbert.

Andrew shared his journey of building and growing a hugely successful business, alongside some of the challenges, sacrifices and lessons he experienced along the way.

It was inspiring to hear such an open account of what it really takes to grow a business, and there were plenty of ideas and different perspectives for us to take away and think about.

A really valuable day and a great story to hear first-hand.

A fantastic transformation for this family home in Braintree.

We opened up the existing ground floor to create a bright and spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area , designed to give the family a more sociable and practical space to enjoy together.

Finished with a contemporary kitchen, central island and bi-fold doors connecting the home to the garden.

𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟴𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 🎉❤️

What an amazing way to celebrate Dad’s 80th birthday!

We’ve got a number of special celebrations planned, but when asked what he wanted to do for his birthday, there was only one answer, a party with his friends and family, and of course, it had to be a fancy dress party! 🎭😂

And honestly, that just sums Dad up perfectly. At 80, he’s still full of fun, laughter and a great sense of adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

It was such a fantastic day surrounded by so many lovely friends and family. There was plenty of laughter, a few questionable fancy dress outfits, lots of memories made and, most importantly, so much love and happiness shared. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. It really was a celebration to remember.

Here’s to the next chapter and to spending lots more time together as a family, making even more special memories.
