Our hearts go out to all the people, businesses and community members involved. Thank you to the fire departments across Pictou County for all you do 👊

It was a long afternoon and night in downtown New Glasgow and this morning as crews continue to put out hot spots. The loss of businesses and apartments in the downtown core will be felt for many years. A huge Thank You to our neighbouring departments for their assistance once again. Trenton FD, Stellarton FD, Linacy FD, Plymouth FD, Little Harbour FD, NGPD, EHS,NG Public Works, NS Power and Bell Aliant. Also to East Ave restaurant,Tim Hortons and Sobeys Westside for thinking of our firefighters. If we missed someone we apologize, it’s been a busy day.
