Why the name? Is it that I have a deep affection for snail mail? Well, not really. I do enjoy receiving mail, but that's not the reason for my Etsy shop name.

I am an Esty seller who specializes in handwritten typography & whimsical illustrations.I make wall hangings out of decorative tree slices (natural wood slabs), and small tree slice Christmas ornaments created individually with care. I love typography, text, words, the act of bringing lines on paper into legible language. That's the reason for She Likes Letters. It comes from the sheer joy that I

get from hand lettering. I come from a graphic design background, and while I enjoy that industry, I really love making things with my hands. I love nature, and rustic decor. The countryside inspires me. I live in the Northwestern part of the United States, everything here is beautiful. Majestic mountains, towering evergreen trees, rushing rivers. It's impossible to go outside without being blown away by the beauty of this world. Mixing the art that I love with the beautiful wood that I use as a canvas creates something really incredible, and that is something that I want to share with others; hence this Etsy shop.
