Not long after my buddy passed, his father passed away as well. I made his urn slightly different, but I’m pleased with how it came out. The 3D relief of John’s face (albeit from a 1970’s picture) captured his likeness really well.

As 2022 approaches I’m getting ready to try my hand at art and craft festivals. When I’ve been to festivals it always seems like there’s a zillion people making and selling jewelry. My thought is to make jewelry boxes! Here’s a scrap piece of black walnut that I experimented with today. I’ve also made larger and smaller sized boxes too.
