Concept Design | The Spa | Tropical Resort

The brief from our client for the Spa was simple but powerful: Create a space that people would want to linger before, after & regardless of having a treatment booked.

We drew inspiration from the Chinese & Japanese ritual of tea making which encourages moments of pause, ceremony and reflection. The Teahouse located in the centre of the outdoor Spa encourages this idea of taking time to be intentional and to rest.

Concept Design | Accommodation | Tropical Resort

One of our clients requests was to create a destination that guests could return to again and again. Each time experiencing something new. From ocean-facing hotel rooms and the Sky Villa penthouses, to luxurious beach and forest villas and the secluded forest hotel suites, the accommodation offering is intentionally diverse.

Each space balancing privacy, atmosphere and luxury, all while feeling rooted in the unique setting.

These penthouse units form part of a larger resort and hotel scheme. Designed to evoke the atmosphere of private villas, they pair the intimacy of standalone living with the unparalleled ocean and forest views that only an elevated position can offer.

The interiors flow directly to the beach, with large openings, shaded terraces, and natural materials that blur the line between inside and out. Layered screens and thoughtful layouts keep every space private while staying connected to the landscape.

For the hotel accommodation rooms in our latest luxury resort concept, it was important to draw inspiration from the local context and culture while also maximising ocean frontage and views.

At the top, the Sky Villa Penthouse becomes the epitome of coastal resort luxury,  a space designed for unparalleled privacy, panoramic vistas, and a seamless connection to its surroundings.

Across every room, natural textures, layered materials, and subtle references to regional craft create interiors that feel both rooted in place and quietly elevated. Expansive openings and terraces frame the coastline, ensuring the ocean is always part of the experience.

Part of our latest concept design for a luxury tropical resort, this forest villa zone offers a calm, immersive alternative to the beachfront experience, but no less important. 
 
Envisioned as a peaceful retreat within the trees, the villas are nestled into lush greenery and are designed to feel private, serene, and effortlessly luxurious.
 
Every detail, from orientation to materiality, was considered to create spaces that feel grounded and deeply connected to their natural context.

Two ways to stay. Same sense of escape.
 
As part of this luxury tropical resort, guests can choose between private beach villas, One set right on the sand with panoramic ocean views and the other, the forest villas, nestled in lush greenery and reflected in still water.
 
Both options offer a unique connection to nature, with architecture designed to feel grounded, calm, and effortlessly luxurious.
