My mornings are somewhat structured... they have to be, I'm a single, homeschooling mom. But the afternoons take us on creative, and often intrepid adventures and I love that each one is different from the next. Really grateful that I get to work around my boy and he gets to learn such cool, hands on skills in addition to his school curriculum 🩷

We are beyond excited to welcome you to our upcoming day retreat on Saturday the 13th of June iA!

Engage with inspiring women, eat delicious food, sip on warm teas and hot chocolate, create beautiful art and indulge in a relaxing pamper sesh. All in a safe, cosy and creative studio space that is Garden Art Café.

Date - Saturday 13th June
Arrive - from 7.30am to enjoy the full welcome experience
Depart - 12.45pm
Exchange - R1100 (includes Welcome pack, all beverages, breakfast and lunch, guest forum, art workshop as well as all materials)

This event is fully halal and also caters to vegan and gluten free. Kindly let us know your dietary requirements

A moment of calm

When I'm overwhelmed

I go outside to pray

listen to the sound of nature

take in the greenery

block out everything and just breathe...
.. and let the tears flow if they must

This heaviness is not mine to carry. I call on the greater power to gently guide me through life

Let's go back to the 90s. Teachers can truly make or break a child. So grateful I had a teacher who noticed me in my formative years and a mom who took her advice 🩷

Everyone has creativity inside of them. You just forgot what it was like to do something without being judged. We were all kids once and the grown-ups ooh'd and ahhh'd over our cute li'l drawings. But now we're not doing it for anyone's approval. We're doing it cause it feels good for our soul💖
