Another liquid rubber project fail...and I had to charge the client double because I hand to burn off and clean the surface before installing a double layer torch-on membrane system.....We quoted on the job last year and the BC decided to go for the liquid rubber option... unfortunately the contractor didn't hold up to his guarantee....liquid rubber works if done properly wwit a membrane but most of the new contractors comes in with cheap quotes and just does a spray job...looks good bud the application is wrong..... feel free to contact us to guide you with the proper different options of waterproofing....when choosing a waterproofing system you need to know the age of the building the water table in the area because these factors will determine settlement of the building and other engineering factors.....any building is Sea Point and the Atlantic seaboard will always have settlement issues as the building ages because of rainwater seeping from the mountain...I am not an engineer lol but feel free to contact any engineer to refute my statement....

The client eventually installed shade cloth under the sheeting to try and reduce the UV lol... we warned her about it

Everyone is jumping on the liquid rubber waterproofing systems that's flooding the market now....this wee we are stripping another roof where the product failed and the contractor is none responsive 🤦🤦...Torch-on is still your best option for flat roofs,especially when you have living space underneath

Gym roof I did in 2004.... those years we made roof trusses on site.... nowadays you can order trusses to size...
