Residents in the Table View and Parklands areas are urged to stay alert as vehicle break-ins continue to increase, especially during the late night and early morning hours.
With winter approaching, the strong winds and heavy rain help mask the sound of windows breaking and vehicle alarms, making it easier for criminals to operate unnoticed.
Criminals are targeting vehicles parked outside homes, on pavements, and in driveways where valuables are left visible.
๐ HOW TO PROTECT YOUR VEHICLE:
โ
Remove all valuables from sight
โ
Do not leave laptops, handbags, wallets or phones in vehicles
โ
Park in well-lit areas whenever possible
โ
Ensure your alarm system is active
โ
Install CCTV cameras facing your driveway or street
โ
Use outdoor sensor lighting around your property
โ
Report suspicious vehicles or persons immediately
โ ๏ธ Common targets include:
โข Vehicles parked outside gates overnight
โข Work vehicles carrying tools or equipment
โข Unlocked vehicles
โข Vehicles without visible security measures
๐ If you notice suspicious vehicles driving slowly through your area or parked for long periods, contact 1 Stop LIFEMED Security immediately.
๐ช Our armed response teams are on standby 24/7 to assist residents in Table View, Parklands and surrounding areas.
