Got to live my Pinterest dream in an expanded space. My client wanted a feature succulent rooftop garden. I had to design carefully to accommodate future growth and then had to source masses of succulents which all had to be hoisted up onto the rooftop. Our kzn green industry has been badly affected since covid and finding plants can be quite a challenge but through various growers, the succulents were sourced. We await artificial grass on the rooftop area.

This space was an awkward adjunct to a building which allowed me to play so amazingly to create a very special bird garden. The boardroom faces this space. I was so excited as we were under budget so got to put up the bird feeders as decor on an otherwise blank section of the wall. Didn't anticipate the stunning shadows that will change on that wall throughout the day.

1 week to go-Your garden, the bees, birds and butterflies are all begging for flowers and your pocket is begging for low prices so why don't you combine this and pay a visit to the biggest plant sale in the Upper Highway with a wide selection of plants directly from wholesalers. All profits go to Drummond Conservancy to help with alien clearing of our area. Come and sit in the garden and enjoy Drummond's hospitality, great baking and the awesome views. There is a fresh produce table with local wares on offer. Breakie buns or wors rolls are available to buy. Free tea and coffee on plant purchases and free entry.

A very recent job. The stone area dominated the small garden and the English gazebo looked lost. By changing the shapes and incorporating the gazebo into the design, it made everything appear united and the garden looked much bigger
