A certain pastor was publicly tempted to drink poison, but he refused to put the Lord God to the test. The video is also on Twitter under "End Times Periodicals"
Following are one of the first verses i became familiar with when i was young and also when i became born of God:
Matthew 4:5-7
[5]Then the deuill taketh him vp into the holy Citie, and setteth him on a pinacle of the Temple,
[6]And saith vnto him, If thou bee the Sonne of God, cast thy selfe downe: For it is written, He shall giue his Angels charge concerning thee, & in their handes they shall beare thee vp, lest at any time thou dash thy foote against a stone.
[7]Iesus said vnto him, It is written againe, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Verse 7 is very important to us as believers. You know, its not that God doesn't do miracles, but it depends on who askfor that miracle. Even in your mind, when there is no body except only you. If the devil tells you to askfor something from God, just refuse, simply ignore the devil's requests., because if you do obey the devil, God won't answer that prayer.
God does perform miracles for people who may need his essential intervention in emergency situations. God has in numerous times delivered me from people whom i did not want even to meet, God by The Name Jesus has resurrected me many times whenever demons attack me at night while sleeping (there is a vulnerability for one who is asleep). God has helped people in hospitals in emergency situations. God won't do for you something which you can do your self. It was up to the pastor to reject or refuse drinking that poison, but i want to tell you that, if the pastor had taken that liquid unknowingly and by mistake, Jesus would have immediately intervened.
