As an interior architectural designer, I often get asked what the difference is between interior architecture and decorating. The simplest way to explain it is this. If you took the roof off a house and flipped it upside down, everything that falls out is what a decorator does. Everything that stays attached to the walls, floors, and structure is what interior architecture is about.

Right now, furniture trends are leaning into warm woods, leather, and beautiful natural textures. Darker woods are especially having a moment, along with statement servers that showcase unique grain patterns. Timeless, warm, and effortlessly refined. 🤎✨
