At approximately 08h00, RZS PROTECTION responded to a report of a suspicious person seen on the roof of a home in Olive Crescent. Upon investigation, members gained access to the property and found the suspect had gained entry via the roof and was in possession of stolen property.
The suspect fled over the fence into the neighboring property on Berea Crescent, then ran across the road into another house. He continued running into a property on Cyprus Way, then onto the premises of Raisethorpe Secondary School, and finally into a house at the corner of Cyprus Way and Bangalore Road.
RZS PROTECTION, then followed the suspect, both in vehicles and on foot. The suspect was soon corned and apprehended at the corner of Cyprus Way and Bangalore Road. He was later detained at Mountain Rise Police Station.
