The Chinese bought The Wheel on South Beach and turned it into China mall where they sell Mostly Chinese products.
Have you ever heard of the Black Mall? Where we sell products that are produced by black companies?
Look at the cheap cars the Chinese are driving , their clothes they are here to work. Real capitalists. While majority of us are popping champagne and competing with debt.
People will say to me I'm always critical of black people. But it's the truth I'm a black visionary capitalist but I'm always critisized by my own people. Even when I try to tell them let's invest. I'm labelled as stingy.
This year I stopped buying food at expensive restaurants I can go there for a cup of coffee. I stopped going to expensive clubs late last year.
I need to get somewhere. My own race is telling me that I'm tarnishing my brand.
My question is as a black folks why does the prosperity of our brands have to depend on luxurious spending.
I had the Hullet family still buys clothes at Mr Price . One of the richest families in Durban but me I can't buy clothes at Mr price because if people see me at Mr Price apparently it's going to tarnish my brand.
We are so far behind as blacks we are focused more on building brands than building businesses and capitalizing on opportunities.
The richest of the rich have no brands.
You don't even know them.
Infact they own shares in almost everything you buy to maintain your brand.
Blacks should wake up.
