Whilst the regular cutting of grass and lawns encourages growth, do not let your gardener/lawn service cut the grass too short. Very short grass will mean any moisture in the soil from dew at this time of year or the few bouts of rain will dry up very quickly. Furthermore if your grass is cut too short the sun may burn the roots ant kill the grass.
