Another HAPPY CUSTOMER in

We were called upon to assist with cabling for a turnstyle and the job turned into much more than that.

The software developer whom supplied the biometric readers complained he got electrocuted.
Upon investigatiinon, it was found that there is an unprotected live supply on the turnstyle without anybody knowing it, the exit door only had 1 operative lock out of the 2, the turnstyles are not compliant, the turn style is only latching one way, there is no key for the exit override and the wiring is full of joints unprotected

We:
1) deployed surge protection and isolation to both
2) replaced the access control
3) pulled new cables for the units
4) removed the dangerous power supply and replaced it with a compliant one
5) truncated all wiring
6) replaced a limit switch
7) synced the logic so that it latches and co trols access both ways bi-directionally
8) fixed the wiring for the door and deployed a new exit button
9) replaced the entry override lock and had new keys made for the exit overide.

Now everyting is much safer, and working properly as per customer requirements.

Understanding regulations and requirements, and having the knowledge on how to implement them, succeeded the project, with the help of doing right.

We do things right 1st time, at a cost.

ANOTHER HAPPY, SATISFIED AND CONFIDENT CUSTOMER in

Electric Fence was Overhauled completely:

Lines had way too much joints - not allowed
All lines lines replaced

Gate Contact not on base plates
Replaced with correct contact on Base Plates

All high tension removed and replaced, placed in conduit all round as required

Earth spikes disconnected due to exposure
Replaced in junctions and rewired in conduit as required

All tensioners removed - too little and old
New tensioners and tails deployed to every corner post as required

All corner posts, including gate brackets supported

Earth loops removed and replaced due to specs

Fence was rwconfigured completely from scratch
Configuration was incorrect, and fence could not handle surges - too many alarms

Lightning inhibitor deployed as there was none

Energizer replaced due to ageing and connected to mobile app via wifi allowing remote control. Energizer was programmed to allow centurion remotes and magnet

Surge protection and isolation deployed to energizer

Battery enclosed in enclosure and associated with independent charger as the energizer is NOT manufactured to charge batteries bigger than 7AH

All indoor wiring placed in trunking

Warning signs deployed according to spec

Wiring labellwd as required by by-law and SANS Standards

Correct bridging utensils used on corners

Gate

Wheels and guide Rollers Replaced
Bearing collapsed and rollers were worn beyond recognition

4g Ultra deployed for mobile app

Centurion Anti-lift brackets deployed

Surge protection and isolation deployed as required by SANS standards

Rack removed and removed and replaced due to not being suitable

Gate Operator & Battery Replaced

Client had a Centurion D5 Evo and complained about its performance. Upon investigation, the diagnosis was that the DOSS is contaminated with gearbox oil due to a leaking seal.

We wrote report to provide options and the client elected replacement.

We installed a D5evo SMART withe its theft cage and surge protection. We also changed the guide rollers and wheels.

2 weeks later the client complained about the battery. We again provided options and election was replacing the battery and deploy a charger.

Upon arrival we saw the new motor was damaged. Thugs attempted to derail the gate and lift out the motor to ooen the gate to steal a bakkie but the theft cage u fortunately prohibited them. A huge credit to Centurion Systems for improving the theft cages. These do protect if the installation is correct.

The battery was replaced. A janus coupler fitted to the incoming power and a plug top fitted to the operator power cable to allow the intelligent charger to be plugged in and power the operator without joints in the cabling.

NOTE: The operator power supply is not manufactured to charge batteries bigger than 7Ah. You need to use a stand alone charger or solar.
