A call was received at approximately 03h22 that a resident's trailer was stolen from their back yard through the wall.

Response was deployed in the Springs area in search of the said Trailer. The trailer was nowhere to be found close by.

On searching further away from the premises we found the trailer on it's way to Dersley Park Springs.

A Big thank you to Bongani for searching further and showing the skills needed for tracking down and finding the trailer. Experience in the field matters as they were carrying the trailer so as not to leave any tracks for a certain distance, but our officer was one step ahead.

Information was received about a group of suspects targeting high end vehicles in the Pretoria area.

Members deployed in the Hazelwood area in search of the said MV. The vehicle a white Suzuki Celerio was spotted driving on Hazelwood str with 2 occupants and fitted with false registration.

Members approached the vehicle and detained 2 occupants, lcrc was contacted and searched the vehicle. Signal jamming device, key coding devices and mv theft equipment was found inside the vehicle.

"Information was received regarding a suspect selling counterfeit South African currency Bank notes. Information said that the suspect along with other unidentified perpetrators manufacture and sell counterfeit notes and also exchange counterfeit notes using different methods.

The above mentioned team deployed in the Lindo park area to the identified address, members held observation until a operation plan was put together to enter the premises.

The team destained one Female suspect in possession of R7200 counterfeit currency. It was established that the detained suspect is the distributor between the manufacturer and the exchangers, further investigation is still underway to arrest the manufacturer and all other parties involved.

Respond to intelligence received regarding a land invasion from Lindelani toward Dersley Park involving the er****on of illegal shacks and verify/prevent illegal land occupation and associated criminal activity.

We were Deployed to the reported area immediately upon receiving the information. We Conducted a physical sweep of Dersley Park, Springs and surrounding open land in Lindelani Benoni. We Identified active illegal mining operations instead of illegal shack er****on. We Secured the area and assessed environmental hazards. No illegal structures were found erected within Dersley Park, Springs. The reported land invasion was not underway at the time of arrival, but Illegal mining activity was confirmed on site. Multiple zama zama operations were in progress.

Hazardous materials present: Open cyanide and mercury ponds were observed at the mining site, posing immediate health and environmental risks. The team Disrupted active illegal mining operations in the area. They Mitigated further spread of mining activity through rapid response. They Identified and flagged hazardous cyanide/mercury sites.
