The Ecogreen shade house:

The BENEFITIS for our users of the Ecogreen shade houses are many:
- It protects plants from winds, hail and pests such as birds, small mammals, harmful insects, snails and slugs;
- It protects plants from extreme hot weather;
- It protects plants which are cold or frost sensitive over winter;
- It helps to propagate new plants;
- It helps to grow tropical plants in cooler climates;
- It helps to increase yield and quality (the result of a healthier root system);
- It improves space to utilise by using hanging shelves and climbing frames;
- It assists with growing vegetables, cut flowers or berry fruits out of season (faster than might be achieved outside).

The Ecogreen shade house is ideal for growing:
- Fruits
- Vegetables
- Cut, shade loving flowers
- Rainforest plants
- Frost/heat sensitive plants
- And other nursery plants that need to “harden off”

The specification of the Ecogreen shade house:
- The standard space frame is manufactured from mild steel rods with a primer and paint application which interlock during assembly of the unit. Galvanizing of the frame is available as an optional extra;
- The standard shade net slipcover for the unit is 40% green shade cloth for general growing conditions. Covers of 20%, 80%, 85% and 90% and colors of white, titanium and black shade netting are available on request;
- The standard dimensions (length x width x height) for the unit is 3.0m x 2.6m x 2.0m fully assembled and 3.0m x 1.47m x 0.15m fully packaged;
- The shade house can be extended to double (6.0m x 2.6m x 2.0m), triple (9.0m x 2.6m x 2.0m) or greater lengths;
- The shade house design uses engineering principals that provide a rigid and robust shade house which will provide many years of secured, trouble-free gardening; and
- The shade house comes in D.I.Y kit form with instructions and is easy to assemble (setup time: 20-minutes).
