If you live in the lowveld you can easily get demotivated with this heat. But cooler climates are almost here, so let’s start restoring 😂. Remember when you start out, varnish your boxes. A lot of people don’t like it but your box will last a lot longer. Also treat them for termites. Once’s that is done you need to make sure to fill your box with healthy soil. After 6 months or a healthy harvest. You need to mix it up again change to new soil or at least loosen the soil and add new compost.

Really enjoyed watching this documentary, it showcases one of the most misunderstood aspects of existence. Just because you cant see something doesnt mean its of less importance. In the "circle of life" we are taught as children, we generally talk of the animal, and the plants, but there is alot more at play then the part we see. If you have netflix, go check it out.

We are still here. Making boxes every week. Remember we deliver, the box, the soil and veggies to your door. This is what I managed to harvest for my salad. Tomatoes was picked 4 days ago before they turn red to save them from becoming worm food. Hope you guys managed keep your veggies alive through the winter. Remember now is a good time to start planting again.
