X1 Manchester : Chapel Street : Specification. Chapel Street is a new build scheme arranged over 5 storeys. The ground floor comprises a large commercial space, expected to attract a major retailer. The entrance, and communal facilities to the student accommodation above is accessed from a clearly identified generous entrance [with adjacent management facilities]. This building will sit within a much wider programme of investment and regeneration within the Chapel Street area, and is adjacent all major amenities – from the Universities to the retail centre of Manchester. Generally: A brick clad building with large expanses of glazing arranged around a central landscaped courtyard to provide external amenity space for residents.
