I was cleaning my Golden Pothos early today and just got mesmerized by how beautiful its topmost leaves are developing. I could not check the topmost leaves on the pole regularly and so I was really surprised to see these beautiful leaves up close. The size of the leaves are also getting bigger as the plant grows taller in its moss.pole.

LECA has been my most favorite semihydro substrate. It has been my go-to necessity for propagation, growing and reviving most of my plants.

Pictured here is my Alocasia Jacklyn who somehow decided to be unhappy. Took her to LECA and slowly but surely, she started showing those lovely roots once again.

Humidity helps big time in the recovery of a plant. For my Alocasia Jacklyn, I used a zip lock bag as a makeshift humidity dome since my greenhouse was full and can't accommodate her. Somehow this set up worked well for her. 😊😊😊

I’m finding it hard to stake my Philodendron Billietiae x Atabapoense because its leaves have grown all around the stem. I should have done it earlier when it was still small with just a leaf or two. But just the same, it needs a support so I’ll have to find the best way to add a pole to it.

Btw, she’s a happy leca convert. I’m hoping to grow her leaves bigger with her on a pole.

Good news! My Hoya Caudata Sumatra, one of the three hoyas I switched from leca to pon, has a tiny leaf growth. Can you see it in the 1st photo? I was so excited to see it this morning and was relieved to know that acclimation went well. The other two hoyas, Rangsan and Waymaniae, are also in very good shape.
