Our studio strategy is to provide intelligent designs that stem from nature and context, and interact with the environment. To achieve our goal we cultivate clients who can relate to these principles and understand the complexities and intricacies of creating a living building rather t

han a monolithic structure. Although our architectural philosophy and identity are unique, yet we reflect each client’s visions and requirements to create such an original synergy. Founder
Amjad Alkoud is an architect who graduated from the University of Damascus in 2000 with a Bachelor of Architecture and has earned his first postgraduate degree in history and theories of architecture in 2003 from the same school, in 2009 he received a Master’s in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Alkoud is a licensed architect. has worked in different architectural firms. He is a member of several architectural organizations; the Syrian syndicate of Architects, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) . Alkoud founded studio AK in 2009 in Damascus, The firm is focusing on providing a vast array of Architectural services such as ARCHITECTURAL PROGRAMMING, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, MASTER PLANNING, SCHEMATIC DESIGN, DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION.
