The kitchen brief was simple: open, clean, and built for a family that entertains. Flat-front, handleless white cabinetry running floor to ceiling. Calacatta marble countertops, island, and backsplash throughout. Wide-plank warm oak flooring anchoring the space. Brushed gold globe pendants over the island. And two deep red velvet bar stools that say everything about the family living here. One room. One decision to let the marble do the talking and the personality show up exactly where it should.

A homeowner in Tilal Al Ghaf called about her garden. We ended up redesigning her kitchen too.

When we sat down with her during the initial walkthrough, the kitchen was immediately obvious. A standard developer fit-out built for nobody in particular, and certainly not for how an Indian family cooks every day. The shelf heights were wrong. The corners were dead space. There was nowhere for large pots, pressure cookers, and kadais. No home for the appliances, the spice collection, the years of crockery accumulated for hosting. We redesigned everything within the same footprint. Upper shelves recalibrated to 15 centimetres so no space above a glass goes to waste. A pull-out carousel in the corner so nothing sits unreachable. Deep appliance drawers. A full pantry tower for every grain and lentil, visible and organised. A pass-through window connecting the kitchen to the garden while she cooks. Storage increased by 60 percent. Same kitchen. Completely reimagined.

Save this if you are planning a kitchen renovation in Dubai and want to see what functional design actually looks like.

Most kitchens in MBR City look like the developer left them. This one does not.

This District 1 villa came to as a landscape project. By the time the design conversation had run its course, we were also transforming the kitchen. A U-shaped layout with warm wood-grain cabinetry, white stone countertops running the full perimeter, Calacatta gold marble backsplash, and matte black hardware throughout. A full wall of floor-to-ceiling high gloss cream cabinetry housing integrated appliances, double ovens, and a lit pantry display. A skylight flooding the space with natural light. An island anchoring the centre. And warm fluted timber on the wall through to the living room so the kitchen never feels separate from the rest of the home.

Save this if you are planning a kitchen renovation in Dubai.

Most people think interior design starts with a mood board. At it starts with a conversation about how you actually live.

Before a single material is selected, we walk every room of your villa and listen. What works. What does not. What your family needs that the current layout does not give you. From there, we build a full 3D visualisation so you can see exactly what your home will look like before construction starts. Not a sketch. Not a reference image. Your home, your materials, your dimensions, rendered to scale. Once you approve the design, we handle every permit and developer NOC in-house, whether that is Emaar, Nakheel, or Dubai Municipality. Then our in-house team executes: carpentry fabricated at our own Al Quoz factory, flooring, ceiling works, lighting, MEP, all under one contract. When the 3D becomes reality, and you walk into a finished room that matches what you approved on screen, that is the moment everything comes together. No surprises. No gaps between what was designed and what was built.

The home you actually want to live in starts with getting every room right.

At we design the whole villa, not just the parts that photograph well. The bedroom that feels like a hotel you never want to leave. The kitchen island built around how your household actually cooks. The wardrobe that makes getting dressed feel effortless. The bathroom where the freestanding tub is not a feature; it is a decision about how you want to end your day. The dining table your family gathers around. The home office that makes it easy to stay focused. Every room considered. Every detail connected. This is what full villa interior design looks like when one team designs it all under one contract in Dubai.

The moment you walk into Maher's villa in Rosa, Arabian Ranches II, you know the rest of the house was designed with the same intention. Calacatta porcelain floors that carry the light from the front door all the way up the staircase. A full-height solid wood entrance door with frosted glass and matte black hardware. A feature wall layered with grey marble, walnut fluted panels, and a large Arabic calligraphy piece in a champagne gold frame. A full-height mirror opposite that doubles the space before you have even taken a step further. The staircase treads clad in the same porcelain as the floors below, a warm timber handrail rising cleanly to the upper floor. Every material in this entrance connects deliberately to the rest of the villa. That is what happens when one team designs the whole home, not just the room you are standing in.

What does your entrance say about the rest of your home?

The powder room is the one space every guest walks through. Most villas in Arabian Ranches treat it like a leftover.

Not this one. Full-height blue-veined marble, floating waterfall vanity, matte black hardware, walnut timber column, backlit oval mirror and a smoked glass pendant overhead. Every finish considered because the person in here for two minutes deserves the same care as the family in the master bedroom.

This is what designing a complete home looks like.

What is the first thing your guests notice walking into your bathroom?

The first thing you see inside a home tells you everything about how the rest of it was designed.

In Maher's villa in Rosa, Arabian Ranches II, the entrance does not ease you in gently. It arrives. Full-height solid wood doors with frosted glass inserts and matte black hardware. Large-format Calacatta porcelain floors with a gloss finish that pulls light from every direction. A feature wall layered with book-matched grey marble, vertical walnut fluted panels, a floating console, and a large Arabic calligraphy piece in a champagne gold frame. Opposite it, a floor-to-ceiling mirror that doubles the space before you have even taken your shoes off. The staircase carries the same Calacatta porcelain from floor to tread, a warm timber handrail, and clean metal spindles rising to the upper floor. Nothing is decorative for its own sake. Every material choice connects back to the rest of the home.

When you walk in, you already know what kind of home this is going to be.

What is the first thing you notice when you walk into a beautifully designed home?
