“Creating a sense of feeling—a vibe you can soak in “ has always been the priority for us while designing spaces.

This apartment entrance lounge was extra special because it was crafted for a developer team who had named the property “ Volna” ( meaning waves ) out of their fascination for the beach.

So, the mood for this space was crafted to evoke the same sense of serenity and calm that a seascape brings to the soul.

To set the reception area apart in this tall, double-height lounge, we had some fun play with the ceiling.

Now think of the early morning sun hitting the sand, when every grain decides to shimmer and show off ~ that’s the vibe up here—a glint and gleam, right through the patterned mesh ceiling.

How about a subtle “ promise of comfort “ before you enter your own piece of space that you call “home” ?

take a peek into this residential lobby at this exquisite development in the prestigious Jaddaf neighbourhood in Dubai.

Alongside the reception and a cozy coffee corner , this lil lounge is something that will get you the sweet smooth transition from the urban sophistication into your tranquil abode. The intent was to arouse the energy of a coastline so that you get to walk into a light , airy ambience but from a contemporary space with its carefully curated textures and materials.

We did dig a lot into human movements , scale&volumes , visual sightlines to get this lounge function as this permeable link between the two realities.

Also we must say : this definitely turned out to be one of those gratifying experiences we have on a project.

OK , this time, we took the phrase ‘throwing a curve’ a lil more seriously with this lounge space at the sales center.

The degree of fascination this unusual curve brings to the niche, seamlessly integrating the café, makes it so easy on the eyes.

With its brushed metal cladding, the café softens the coldness of straight lines, adding both dynamism and elegance to the space.

The word ‘intimidating’ is thrown around endlessly in the sales world, sometimes in the systems and sometimes in the experience.

But we’re calling for an energy shift with this *very special * sales center project.

For the sales lounge, we took the pleasure of inviting the carefree weightlessness of water and the undulating ripples from a tossing pebble, infusing calmness and curiosity into the space. 🫧

While the central column, which was otherwise an elusive *potential disruptor * in the space, is now the striking centerpiece in the organic symphony of ripples. 🌬️

Lets face it : great food and a pleasant atmosphere have become the basics , diners today are increasingly seeking unique immersive experiences .
With this restaurant specifically , we went all out, creating an immersive journey that sets the stage for something truly special. It’s been a total joy exploring the rich, historic layers of old dubai and infusing them into the detailing of the space. The feature walls of the space now function beyond its visual appeal : it’s a story of the old streets bringing in a multi-dimensional experience to the visitors.

And that’s what we all want right ? to belong to stories , to be transported.
