We were proud to host the official unveiling of at the BEEAH Headquarters, a landmark that now stands at the heart of the city itself.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, unveiled Khalid Bin Sultan City- its first real estate development and a climate-smart sustainable city of the future.

Masterplanned by Zaha Hadid Architects, the city brings together sustainability, technology, culture, and people-centric design. The masterplan builds on the enriching philosophies embedded in the architecture of BEEAH’s renowned headquarters, drawing inspiration from the fluid forms of wind-swept desert dunes to shape a multi-centered urban network with seven distinct residential neighbourhoods, interconnected by shaded walkways and vibrant streetscapes.

Khalid Bin Sultan City reflects BEEAH’s mission to advance quality of life through sustainability and innovation- offering more than a place to live, but a future to call home.

‎فخورون باستضافة الإطلاق الرسمي لمدينة خالد بن سلطان في المقر الرئيسي لـ”بيئة”، المعلم الأيقوني الذي يقف اليوم في قلب المدينة ذاتها.

تحت رعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى للاتحاد، حاكم الشارقة، وبحضور سمو الشيخ سلطان بن أحمد القاسمي، نائب حاكم الشارقة، أعلنت “بيئة” عن إطلاق مدينة خالد بن سلطان، أول مشروع لها في قطاع التطوير العقاري، ومحطة محورية في مسيرة بناء مدن مستقبلية مستدامة وذكية مناخياً.

بتصميم من شركة زها حديد للهندسة المعمارية، تجمع المدينة بين الاستدامة، والتكنولوجيا، والثقافة، والتصميم المتمحور حول الإنسان. ويستند المخطط الرئيسي إلى الفلسفات المعمارية الغنية التي تجسدت في تصميم المقر الرئيسي لـ”بيئة”، مستلهمًا من التشكيلات الانسيابية للكثبان الرملية، ليشكل شبكة حضرية متعددة المراكز تتكون من سبعة أحياء سكنية مترابطة، عبر ممرات مظللة وشوارع نابضة بالحياة.

وتجسد مدينة خالد بن سلطان رؤية “بيئة” في الارتقاء بجودة الحياة من خلال الاستدامة والابتكار، لتكون أكثر من مجرد مكان للسكن، بل مستقبلًا تنتمي إليه.كن جزءًا من المستقبل

Nadine Ghannom, a motion and graphic designer, brings the Naseej carpets to life through a series of animated artworks that add a layered digital dimension to the visitor’s journey. Displayed at BEEAH Headquarters, her subtle animations reimagine each carpet through gentle rhythm and emotive movement, blurring the lines between craft and technology.

A Syrian-Polish artist, Nadine uses design in motion to explore cultural storytelling, bridging tradition and innovation through visual rhythm.

‎ضمن معرض “نسيج: خيوط من الأمل”، قدّمت المصممة نادين غنوم، المتخصصة في التصميم الجرافيكي والتحريك، سلسلة من الرسوم المتحركة التي تُعرض في مقر “بيئة” الرئيسي. من خلال هذه الأعمال، قامت بإعادة تقديم تصاميم السجاد بطريقة رقمية معاصرة، تعتمد على الإيقاع البصري والحركة الانسيابية، وتضيف طبقة جديدة من التفاعل والتأمل البصري.

‎نادين، فنانة سورية-بولندية، توظّف التصميم الحركي في استكشاف السرد البصري الثقافي، وتُجسّد من خلاله التقاء التقاليد بالابتكار ضمن تجربة فنية متكاملة.

Echoes of the Dune – A Carpet by Zaha Hadid Architects
Drawing inspiration from the fluid geometries of the BEEAH Headquarters, this handwoven carpet translates architectural movement into textile form. Its monochrome palette mirrors the shifting contours of desert dunes, capturing a continuous rhythm of light, shadow, and transformation.

On view at Naseej: Threads of Hope Exhibition until June 3, 2025.

صدى الكثبان – سجادة من تصميم “زها حديد للتصاميم المعمارية”
بتصميم مستوحى من الانسيابية الهندسية التي تميز مقر "بيئة" الأيقوني في الشارقة، تعكس هذه السجادة تموجات الكثبان الصحراوية وتحولات الطبيعة المستمرة. نُسجت بدقة من أجود أنواع الصوف والحرير الهيمالايا، ويجسّد نسيجها الغني إيقاعات الظل والنور، معبّرة عن لغة التصميم الفريدة لزها حديد، القائمة على الانسياب والحركة.

As “Naseej: Threads of Hope” enters its final week, we were honoured to host distinguished guests from government entities, cultural institutions, and our valued partners at BEEAH Headquarters for an exclusive evening dedicated to reflecting on the exhibition’s powerful message and impact.

Held in the presence of Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice Chairman of BEEAH Group, and Nada Taryam, CEO – Real Estate at BEEAH, the dinner highlighted our shared commitment to sustainability, cultural dialogue, creative collaboration, and positive social change.

The evening also coincided with the ongoing Naseej: Threads of Hope online auction – a philanthropic initiative supporting children’s health and education. All proceeds will benefit the humanitarian efforts of the Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation (KSQF) and the Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative (FBMI).

We extend our sincere thanks to all who attended, and to our partners and exhibition sponsor, Emirates Islamic Bank, for their continued support and dedication to this shared journey.

Ya’tikum al-‘Afiya — A Carpet by Sultan Bin Fahad In Sultan Bin Fahad’s contemplative work, interlocking circles and floral forms come together in a soft mandala of movement and overgrowth. Woven from Ghazni wool and natural silk, the carpet evokes warmth, wonder, and the quiet force of love — held by tender hands and returned to the world through the act of giving.

يعطيكم العافية - سجادة لسلطان بن فهد

في عمله التأملي، يجمع سلطان بن فهد بين دوائر متشابكة ونقوش زهرية ضمن ماندالا ناعمة من الحركة والنمو. نسجت السجادة من صوف غزني وحرير طبيعي، لتستحضر مشاعر الدفء والدهشة، وقوة الحب الهادئة التي تحتضنها أيادٍ محبة وتعود إلى العالم على هيئة عطاء.

Drawing on whimsical forms and soft, vivid colors, the piece evokes imagination, adventure, and the innocence of escape. With every detail, Faissal El Malak invites us to revisit the quiet wonder of dreaming with our eyes closed.

Damn the Dam — A Carpet by Bokja (Huda Baroudi and Maria Hibri)

This carpet commemorates the Bisri Valley and the grassroots movement that successfully stopped the construction of a dam in 2020. Hand-embroidered pine trees rise from Lebanon’s fertile soil, symbolizing resilience, memory, and deep-rooted connection to the land. Each thread reflects the collective will to protect one of the country’s most vital natural landscapes.

مرج بسري — سجادة لبقجة | هدى بارودي وماريا هيبري

تُسلّط هذه السجادة الضوء على وادي "بسري" في لبنان، وتوثّق جهود المجتمع في حماية غاباته الطبيعية وإيقاف مشروع السد عام 2020. تُبرز أشجار الصنوبر المطرّزة يدويًا رموزًا للصمود، والارتباط العميق بالأرض، والتاريخ البيئي للمنطقة. كل خيط في هذا العمل يُجسّد مشهدًا من مقاومة بيئية لحماية التراث الطبيعي.
