A single story villa conceived as a continuous U-shaped volume, with functions organized around a central courtyard.

The building opens inward, creating a protected outdoor space that mediates between architecture and landscape while bringing daylight and views deep into the interior. All functions are arranged along the perimeter of the courtyard, forming a continuous spatial sequence. Circulation unfolds along this inner edge and is partly sheltered by a linear portico, establishing shaded thresholds and gradual transitions between interior and exterior.

A subtle variation in scale along one wing introduces spatial rhythm while maintaining the clarity of the overall volume. The façades remain minimal and restrained, defined by large openings and deep reveals that frame the surrounding landscape and maximize natural light.

This project is developed as a conceptual design idea.

Contours bend with intention, softening the architectural mass and forming gentle transitions between levels and moments.
Every pathway is considered, every line attuned to the quiet rhythm of everyday movement, an urban threshold where form, nature, and people meet in a continuous, unforced dialogue.

Around the MET Building, originally shaped by Mario Cucinella’s expressive and fluid geometry, we approached the landscape with a deliberate clarity.
Materiality was refined, spatial sequences rebalanced, and circulation subtly reorchestrated to enhance both coherence and calm.

These measured interventions establish a softer cadence between building and ground, where light, texture, and greenery engage with greater intention.
The landscape now holds a more nuanced conversation with the architecture, respecting the original vision while elevating the atmosphere through carefully tuned adjustments in materials and spatial arrangement.

A quiet clarity defines this space where form bends with intention and light drapes itself across every surface like a second skin. Geometry is softened, not erased, allowing curves and planes to coexist in a kind of spatial poetry.
Materiality is restrained, but never cold. Glass, and muted textures ground the atmosphere with a sense of permanence, while expansive glazing draws the outside world inward trees, light, movement all becoming part of the interior rhythm.
Proportions are generous without indulgence. Circulation feels intuitive, like walking through. This is a space designed not only for function, but for pause where the eye can rest, and walking flow is directed without interruption.
