Caught in reflection🪞
A Swedish dressing table from the 1960s by Sven Engström and Gunnar Mystrand for Bodafors.
One of those rare pieces that manages to be playful, elegant and practical all at once.

Sold. Still worth a second look.

They really don’t make them like this anymore.

A 1950s brass drinks trolley with ornate bottle holders, decorative finials and a removable tray featuring a romantic carriage scene.

A little glamorous.
A little theatrical.
Perhaps slightly over the top.

And that’s precisely what makes it so wonderful.

Already sold and on its way to a new home.

One of the things I love most about Danish design is how little it asks for attention.

No dramatic details.
No unnecessary decoration.

Just beautiful proportions, warm teak and craftsmanship that quietly does its job for decades.

This Harry Østergaard highboard has already found a new home, but pieces like this are a reminder why Danish furniture remains so sought after more than half a century later.

Some designs never really go out of style.

„Daisy“, designed for Lilien Porzellan in Austria, is one of those quiet classics that somehow still feels fresh decades later.

Soft pastel colours, delicate proportions and just the right amount of playfulness. A design that perfectly captures the optimistic spirit of post-war European tableware.

This set brings together several of the original Daisy colourways, each charming on its own, but even better mixed together.

A small piece of Austrian design history.

The shape is iconic.

The colour is unmistakably 1970s.

Verner Panton understood something many designers didn’t: colour isn’t decoration. It’s part of the design.

These vibrant orange Panton Chairs were never meant to disappear into the background. They were meant to energise a room.

More than fifty years later, they still do.
